Dolly Parton Joins For KING & COUNTRY On “God Only Knows”

Dolly Parton is blessing us with the gift of new music. Today (August 30), the living legend joins for KING & COUNTRY on a remix of “God Only Knows.” The spiritual anthem landed on Joel and Luke Smallbone’s Burn The Ships, and it rocketed up Billboard’s Hot Christians Songs chart. Since then, the Aussie brothers have released several updates. And this one – their last – is a standout. On it, the country star does some very heavy lifting. “God only knows what you’ve been through. God only knows what they say about you, God only knows how it’s killing you,” she sings on the chorus.

“But there’s a kind of love that God only knows.” The “Jolene” icon hopped on Instagram to gush about the opportunity. “When I first heard [“God Only Knows”] I knew I had to be a part of it. Thank you [for KING & COUNTRY] for letting me join you in telling this incredible story of love, faith and kindness,” she wrote. Joel and Luke were equally pumped in a post of their own. “This perhaps is the most thrilling New Music Release we’ve ever had.
