Fleur East recruits Maegan Cottone for debut album

British singer/songwriter Fleur East has recruited the songwriting services of Maegan Cottone for her upcoming debut album.

“@FleurEast my new favourite girl. What a pleasure!,” she posted to her Twitter account on Wednesday (April 29, 2015).

Cottone is known for co-writing “Move” by Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records], “Up” by Olly Murs f/ Demi Lovato [Syco Music / Epic Records] and “Pretty Girls” by Britney Spears f/ Iggy Azalea [RCA Records].

Furthermore, she has collaborated with top musicians including Babyface (Beyonce, Janet Jackson), Rodney Jerkins (Ciara, Leona Lewis), Lucas Secon (Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks) and Rob Knox (Rihanna, Justin Timberlake).

Meanwhile, East is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music and Sony Music Entertainment.

The still-untitled LP boasts productions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (Gabrielle, Ella Henderson), Cutfather (Pixie Lott, Ella Eyre), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Sam Smith) and Jack Splash (Jasmine Sullivan, Alicia Keys).

On the songwriting front, East has teamed up with Camille Purcell (Rita Ora, Karen Harding), Ina Wroldsen (Labrinth, Janelle Monae), Chelcee Grimes (Aston Merrygold, Tamera Foster) and Wayne Hector (Jason Derulo, Craig David).
