Jessie Reyez has teamed up with Salaam Remi for her upcoming debut project.

“@SalaamRemi #DAYO Grateful for everything that has happened this year. For the legends I’ve gotten to work with. For the people I’m building with from the ground up. For the reception and love I’ve gotten. For the health of my family. For the challenges that have carved my heart out to be a little more seasoned .. and for another day alive,” the Canadian singer-songwriter posted to Instagram on Wednesday (December 29, 2016).

Remi recently co-produced two songs on Anthony Hamilton’s latest studio collection under Mister’s Music / RCA Records, “What I’m Feelin,” alongside James Poyser – “Amen” and “Take You Home.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”), Mack Wilds (“Own It”), Jordin Sparks (“They Don’t Give”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), Alicia Keys (“Girl on Fire”), Nelly Furtado (“Enemy”), Melanie Fiona (“Running”) and Amy Winehouse (“Stronger Than Me”).

Other musicians Reyez has collaborated with on the still-untitled collection are Babyface, The Rascals, Jason Evigan, Chris Loco, Fredro, Jason Boyd, Hazebanga, Jaramye Daniels, and Christopher Braide.

Her current promotional single “Figures” – which was produced by Priest and the Beast – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
