LaShawn Daniels is an American singer, songwriter, and vocal producer.

Alongside regular collaborators Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and Fred “Uncle Freddie” Jerkins, Daniels – also known as Big Shiz – has helmed international hit singles for Whitney Houston (“It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay), Jennifer Lopez (“If You Had My Love”), Destiny’s Child (“Say My Name”), Toni Braxton (“He Wasn’t Man Enough”) and Brandy & Monica (“The Boy is Mine”).

Daniels’ extensive resume boasts further works with Tamar Braxton (“Love and War”), Mary J. Blige (“Wonderful”), Kelly Rowland (“Work it Man”), Alicia Keys (“Rear View Mirror”), Beyonce (“Back Up”), Shola Ama (“Imagine”), Melanie Fiona (“Magic”), Lady Gaga (“Telephone”) and Janet Jackson (“Luv”).

Amongst the producers Daniels has collaborated with throughout his career are Stargate, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Diplo, Polow Da Don, Warren “Oak” Felder, Shea Taylor, Andre Harris, Vidal Davis, Harvey Mason Jr., Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Blac Elvis, D’Mile, Symbolyc One, Brian Kennedy, and Da Internz.

On the songwriting front, Daniels co-penned songs with Makeba Riddick, Angela Hunte, Eric Dawkins, Kelly Price, Toni Estes, Delisha Thomas, Cristyle Nicole, Traci Hale, Rico Love, Sean Garrett, James Fauntleroy, Priscilla Renea, Victoria Monet, Mischke Butler, Tasleema Yasin, and Antea & Anesha Birchett.
