Stromae has released a quirky animated video for his latest single, “Carmen.” Directed by French filmmaker Sylvain Chomet (The Illusionist, Paris, je t’aime), the visual follows a cartoon-like Stromae and his “Tweeter” bird through various parts of social media. It soon takes a dark turn as the blue-feathered animals demand more and more attention.

Stromae first caught everyone’s attention thanks to Kanye West‘s remix on 2010’s“Alors On Dance” and his 2013 sophomore album Racine Carrée. Recently, he was featured on the Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack opener — “Meltdown.” The artist will be going on a North American tour, which kicks off on April 5.
