Usher

Singer/songwriter Usher has enlisted the songwriting services of Priscilla Renea Hamilton for his upcoming eighth album.

Notable songwriting credits by Hamilton include Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” f/ Kid Ink [Syco Music], Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” [Epic Records], Tamar Braxton’s “Tip Toe” [Streamline Records] and K. Michelle’s “V.S.O.P.” [Atlantic Records].

Her extensive resume includes further works for Madonna [Interscope Records], Beyonce [Columbia Records], Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and Little Mix [Syco Music].

Among the top producers she has collaborated with are William Orbit (Madonna, Robbie Williams), Toby Gad (Selena Gomez, Natasha Bedingfield), Benny Blanco (Ryn Weaver, Charli XCX) and Dr. Luke (Ciara, Nicki Minaj).

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his next studio collection later this year under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The keenly-awaited project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Looking 4 Myself,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Climax,” “Lemme See” and “Scream.”

Other songwriters backing Usher on the new album are Rock City (Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis), Bebe Rexha (Tinashe, David Guetta), Verse Simmonds (Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland) and Eric Bellinger (Brandy, Keyshia Cole).
